Project overview
I recently had the pleasure of working with Alexis, the owner of La Bouche, a wine bar located in the Uptown neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.
Founded by Alexis and Alexandra, a French couple living in the United States, La Bouche is an authentic wine bar offering a unique French-American experience centered around wine. The venue highlights carefully selected French and American products, with a strong focus on quality, authenticity, and cultural discovery.
Their goal was to share their passion for wine and artisanal products in a warm, welcoming atmosphere — while modernizing the way customers access the menu.
The solution
I designed and built La Bouche’s website from start to finish, with a fully custom design aligned with their brand and atmosphere.
A key feature of the project was the integration of a 100% digital menu, accessible via QR codes that customers can scan directly at the bar. This allows guests to view the full menu instantly on their phones, while keeping the experience seamless and intuitive.
The website was built to give the owners full autonomy, with easily editable menu pages so they can update content themselves — without relying on an external provider for frequent changes.
The result is a modern, efficient system that improves the customer experience while saving time and simplifying daily operations for the business.
